Education Programs

The Education Committee seeks to teach God’s word at all levels of Church involvement. Our pastor is a Biblical expositor, opening the Bible for our understanding and application with every Sunday sermon, while the younger people attend Children’s Church to learn a similar lesson at their level of understanding. There is also an extensive church library open to the public.

As we seek to reflect the light of Christ in our lives and to share this light with those around us through word and deed.

There are also mid-week youth groups for our Jr. & Sr. High School Students, in which the Sunday lesson is applied to their daily experiences. And for adults who wish to dig deeper into the scriptures a mid-week Bible Study, “Something More,” seeks to further unpack Sunday’s Biblical text while wrestling with any and all thorny questions the participants may bring up.

In response to the Covid19 pandemic, while both of these events are better appreciated in person, the Sunday service is also recorded for later viewing on YouTube. And the “Something More” Bible Study is accessible by Zoom.

Sadly, the pandemic has shut down all participation in camps and conferences for both our youth and adults.  We pray that 2021 will see a return of the wonderful Summer traditions.
